Damian has 24 years’ experience in FinTech analytics, having worked with hundreds of Wall Street’s most successful investment managers in risk management, performance attribution and factor analysis. He joined Style Analytics in August 2019 to help bring their innovative and unique style factor approach to a wider market. Prior to joining Style Analytics, Damian co-founded Investor Analytics in 199 as Wall Street’s first cloud-based multi-asset class risk service provider and served as Chairman and CEO until he sold that company to StatPro in 2016 to become their Global Head of Risk.
Damian received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and his doctorate in nuclear astrophysics while working on Correlation Functions at the National Superconducting Cyclotron Laboratory at MSU.
Jason Collins coordinates resources and investment strategy for all equity portfolios and oversees the activities of equity Portfolio Managers in our investment programme. Previously, Jason served as Head of Equity in the London office and as Head of Portfolio Management, overseeing both equity and fixed income strategies.
Before his employment with us, he was a Founding Partner of Maia Capital Partners, a specialist multi-manager investment firm providing multi-asset unit trusts to UK retail investors. Jason participated in all aspects of portfolio management for the firm, including manager research and fund selection across all asset classes, asset allocation, portfolio construction and implementation.
Prior to founding Maia Capital, Jason was a Portfolio Manager at Fidelity International, where he was responsible for a range of multi-manager funds and played a key role in the development of the investment process. Before joining Fidelity, he spent over nine years at Skandia as Head of Investment Research, where he was responsible for the manager research, selection and monitoring process and was a key member of the Group Investment Committee.
Nick Wood, CFA
Nick Wood is Head of Fund Research at Quilter Cheviot, leading a team which has dual research responsibilities for both Quilter Cheviot and the Quilter Investors Multi-Asset team. Nick previously work at US asset manager Capital Group for 10 years, and investment consultancy Stamford Associates. Nick graduated from Birmingham University with a degree in Economics and a Masters in Russian and Eastern European Studies. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder and an Associate of the Charted Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI). Externally, Nick sits on the investment committees of King’s College London and the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
